I have known Ms. Sharilyn for approx. 25 + yrs. I met her at Bundy when I attended church there. Sharilyn in a friendly, outgoing person. She has wonderful family values She is a true blue friend. I worked with her in the preschool teaching 4 year olds about one yr. and I had the priviledge of working with her in Kindergarten for 2 yrs.. We teach along the same lines, we follow the curriculum to the T. She has been married for 33 years to Richard Carpenter. She was married to her first husband and had 2 children, which are Kristie 46 yrs. old and Larry is 49 yrs. old. Her first husband died of a rare disease. Sharilyn and Richard have a son together Ricky and he is 33 yrs. old. She has eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She has been a close friend of mine for many years, and is kindhearted, good natured. She loves teaching and has been at Bundy for 21 years. She is presently the 2nd grade teacher. We have shared much laughter, as well as sorrow together. Sharilyn just had a birthday on June 10th and she turned 67 yrs.old. She plans to work well into her 70's. She never speaks badly of anyone she is a very loving person and has many friendships. She loves Disneyland and visits there in the summer. Whenever we plan any teacher function she makes sure she goes with us. She will be going on her first cruise, Mexican Rivera Cruise. Richard and Sharilyn Carpenter are the greeters at Bundy Canyon Christian Church and have attended church there for approx. 21 yrs. They enjoy going to the movies together and having their family over every Monday night for dinner. They love going with friends to various places. When they young they were on a bowling league for 15 years. Sharilyn still gets together with a group of women and plays bunco and has been active in this group for 35 years. Sharilyn is a Christian woman and loves the Lord. She is warmhearted and we all love her very much.
